Cons: tack sharp on full frame at f9, but on a crop it\'n never tack sharp. Before f9-f10 it is soft on its own, and after that sensor diffracfion limits kick in Autofocus sounds like a toy car
Pros: Good range on a crop (44-128mm effective) Better than an old kit lens - similar sharpness, better background blur thanks to longer zoom
Summary: Still better than old kits (but ive heard 18-55mm STM are almost L-sharp) Good walk around lens for an occasional portrait at max zoom or not-so-wide landscape shots.
