Cons: 1) Heavier than I would like for travel. 2) CA at wide apertures and at frame edges. 3) Zoom creep when the camera points down requires a secure hold on the zoom ring. Such a scenario is untenable with slow shutter speeds and using a cable release and tripod. A zoom lock at all zoom settings and not just at 18mm would be a very welcome improvement.
Pros: 1) Very sharp. 2) High build quality. 3) Good value. 4) OS seems fine.
Summary: Good - very versatile all round lens. The CA is easily removed in post. As I use a tripod and photograph subjects such as flowers that are often at a lower level than the camera, zoom creep is the most unwelcome feature.
