Cons: Heavy and expensive. But you get what you pay for in this case.
Pros: Extremely sharp and contrasty at all apertures, At 7 mm, the very definition of a wide angle.
Summary: Great fun to use. Wouldn't be without it (or the Zuiko 12-60 and 50-200).

Cons: Flare, distortion in corners at 7mm
Pros: Incredible coverage, minimal barrel distortion for such a wide coverage, use outside in rainy weather frequently
Summary: As a real estate photographer this lens gives me an advantage over my competitors

Price: 1600

Cons: f:2.8 can only be done by a trick, but normally you will not need f:2.8
Pros: sharpness, colour rendition, contrast. minimum distortions (less than the nikkor 14-24), image stabilized on most of olympus-bodies, the weather sealing has let my lens survived a short dive in a wild river.
Summary: i do not regret a bit to have paid the price. it is worth every penny.

Pros: Optical and build quality are great.
Summary: I am very happy with it.

Cons: Big chunk of glass; backbreaker lugging it around all day
Pros: Excellent optics, solid construction, weatherproofed
Summary: A very nice lens, but a luxury at its price.

Cons: 9-18mm is closeto the 7-14mm in quality and much smaller and cheaper. Lens flare when shooting toward the sun. The 7-14mm has a big chunk of glass sticking out of the front - you need to be very careful about bumping into things.
Pros: Optical and build quality are great.
Summary: I am very happy with it.
