Overall
Owner since: 1 month
Price: €135
User profile: Professional
Cons: Clickless aperture ring. Not super-critical sharp at f1.4.
Pros: Completely usable image quality right from f1.4. Solid (metal) made. Only slight distortion and vignetting (on M4/3)
Summary: Wow, a little gem. Quality is dear, but sometimes cheap can buy excellent value. This is a well-made fully manual lens that has splendid image right quality from f1.4. At the maximum f the lens lacks a bit of punchy sharpness and shows a bit of ca but stopping down to f2 and further repairs these flaws. So overall: excellent images from corner to corner and a great character.

Cons: MF - rare to find
Pros: ++ very good performer for portraits (better then the 1,7 version of MEIKE or 1.2/35 of 7artisans) ++ very nice color rendition and contrast +/++ very good center sharpness and good in the corners ++ very nice bokeh ++ very few CA\'s
Summary: for APS-C my favorite very higly recommended 4.8 points
