Cons: You do not get sharp corners, and if you want to aim for least dodgy quality out there in the corners, stop down to F11 or further (but see pros). Like most or all Cosina-made DSLR lenses, build quality is not a strong point, with lightweight plastics and imprecision in the AF mechanism (but see summary). You can get undesirably high levels of flare, glare and fringing against the light - but not hopelessly badly!

Pros: The cheapest, smallest, lightest ultra-wide lens for full-frame, and its optics are not hugely worse than many alternatives...ultrawide lenses are not easy to make. It gives its best straight from 19mm. It gives nice sunstars.

Summary: Despite its unimpressive build quality, it works, has a metal mount, and results can be very acceptable indeed.

Cons: telephotos with some chromatic aberrations some diaphragm reflections when sun is shining

Pros: wide focus range, nice wide angle, stopped down good lens

Summary: phantastic all around lens, which must be corrected by photoshop in order to eliminate chromatic aberrations

Cons: Very sharp, good construction quality, metal mount, AF precision

Pros: Noisy AF motor, colors a bit cold, vignetting @19mm F3.5, flare, not use for infrared photography.

Summary: This lens was really a surprise. Purchased as a joke, it has proved a great lens for street photography. Not forced to compromise too exaggerated to get good images. The sharpness is very impressive for a lens of this price range. His faults are more objective and vignetting evident at 19mm wide open (at F 3.5 on 5D camera body, on aps-c the problem reduces a lot), and its complete inactivity for infrared photography. The AF motor noise and the yield of cold colors, basically isn't a disturb. For its price, is a lens that is worth to try!
