Overall

User profile: Amateur
Cons: Rubber material on zoom and focus rings is a dust magnet. Plastic build doesn\'t feel special. Sunstars are average to poor.
Pros: Really good optical performance. Sharp over the whole frame at f8 over the entire zoom range. Little to complain about in terms of CA/fringing or flare. Weather sealed. Very compact and light. Reasonable price.
Summary: A very good UWA zoom option in L-mount. No worse in optical performance compared to the much more expensive Panasonic 16-35 f4. Sigma\'s 16-28 f2.8 is a more direct competitor in terms of price and that too performs very well. But the Sigma isn\'t weather sealed and has a narrower zoom range. But the Sigma lens is faster which might suit some users better.
