Overall
Owner since: 1 year
Price: 444
User profile: Amateur
Cons: a little bit heavy, but quite good balance on my Z f
Pros: sharpness, color rendering, small amount of distortion
Summary: best ultra wideangle for Nikon Z
Overall
Owner since: 3 months
Price: 600Euro
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Info panel too bright at night if one is using it for stars. Vignetting is a bit high also after stopping down, this is due to not having a big bulbous front lens. IR-performance is not great too much flaring and hotspots
Pros: Cheap and a great performance for such a wide angle Even wide open. Coma / astigmatism is very well controlled. Sharpness is already very good even in the corners, coma (stars) is gone around f2.5. Contrast and sharpness are suberb between f2.8 - f8 Build like a tank, well sealed, nice features. Ideal for astro scapes and astro time lapses nice sunstars no LOCA minor LACA when you pixel peep no residual spherical aberration for such a wide angle lines keep close to straight in the corner
Summary: highly recommended for landscape photography, astro , general interior, architecture, low light photography. not suited for Infrared (take the 20 mm f2.8 Viltrox = great for IR)
