Overall
Owner since: 5 years
Price: USD 800
User profile: Amateur
Cons: heavy, aperture only goes to f/22
Pros: color, microcontrast, build
Summary: This is a legendary lens but not suitable for everyone
Overall
Owner since: 4 years
Price: € 10
User profile: Professional
Cons: Great on film with Dynax 9 or 7; less good on Alpha 900. Never pinsharp like the most of the other Minolta pearls from the analoge age. Still: for prints no larger than A4 you will be completely satisfied.
Pros: Internal focussing unlike the Sony Zeiss ZA 2.8/24-70 mm. No changes in lens legth during zooming wich I prefer. Beautifull color rendition.
Summary: Good lens though not top of the bill anymore on fullframe Alpha's.
