6. Distortion

In a prime portrait lens like the Sigma 2.8/105 it would be difficult to expect any significant geometric deformations at the frame edge. As a matter of fact, according to our measurements, the Sigma is characterized by a negligible level of pincushion distortion, amounting to 0.33%.
