Cons: Heavy No hood 28mm macro, not so great.
Pros: Good build quality. Great zoom range. Picture quality is so sharp when stopped down. Fast accurate focus. Big 72mm front glass
Summary: My go to lens for the Sony A850. Outperforms any of my other zooms. I bought a screw on lens hood for it to both protect the lens and stop flare. Although a big heavy lens, it feels nicely balanced on the A850.
