Sony Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar 24-70 mm f/2.8 T* SSM

14 September 2010

6. Distortion

The distortion shouldn’t be problematic too, although you can notice it at the shorter focal length where it is –2.14% (the Canon 24-70 mm had the result of –1.72% and the Sigma –1.76%). With the increase of the focal length the problem disappears completely, at 45 mm reaching –0.13% and at 70 mm only 0.38%.
