What’s interesting, the widest angle of view gives us the least causes to complain. The aberration is at most medium there and it doesn’t depend on the used aperture. Also at 50 mm focal length the medium level is kept, although a bit higher this time. If we pass to longer focal lengths more serious problems arise. Near the maximum relative aperture chromatic aberration is still medium. It increases on stopping down ,though, and by f/11-f/22 it can reach the high level.

The lens doesn’t experience almost any problems with the longitudinal chromatic aberration. You can see it very well in the photos of the autofocus chart, presented in chapter 10.
