Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 12-24 mm f/4G IF-ED

11 March 2011
Arkadiusz Olech

10. Autofocus

Short focal lengths, average fastness and consequently significant depth of field plus the presence of a silent, efficient and fast SWM motor make the Nikkor’s 12-24 mm focusing mechanism really beyond reproach. The autofocus is silent, fast and, what’s the most important thing, it hardly ever misses (less than 4% in studio conditions). There is also no back or front focus tendency.
