Cons: a bit weavy distorsion, between f1.8-2.4 soft corners, AF on the sow side
Pros: very sharp stopped down, as well good corners with my Nikon D 700, good lowlight performence, only very few CA´s
Summary: I have been reading some stupid and wrong comments here or the guys had bad lack with a bad copy. My copy simply is fine giving great results! For the money a great deal!

Cons: quite huge for the focal length 82mm filters
Pros: fastest 20mm lens
Summary: I like it for low light shooting on DX. Teams very nice with 35/f1.8 or 50/f1.8. Only drawback is the size and weight.

Cons: Almost useless wide open (Soft) Sigma's quality control has a bad reputation.
Pros: Being special. Close focus combined with wide angle is cool! Works fine for me when stopped down a bit.
Summary: A special purpose lens in my bag. I use the great Tokina 11-16/2.8 for most wide angle, but when you need to get very close to something smallish and put it in a wide perspective, this is it!

Cons: Optically poor before f/2.8 even on DX. Slow(ish) AF.
Pros: Optically excellent on DX from f/2.8
Summary: I really love this lens on DX. On FX, the lens is just poor to average and I would pass.

Cons: for photography very soft wide open
Pros: good for filming,
Summary: i found it not usable wide open, have to stop it down to f4. But a good lens for filming specially on 5d thou vignetting might be problematic on fullframe. On crop it is is not very wide but no vignetting

Cons: CA , seems a bit soft (contrast) when shooting daylight - good at low light.
Pros: Extremely close focus, very good at 1.8 . Sharp from 2.5. Filming in bad light is a joy...
Summary: Heard a lot of mixed opinions, most negative. Test on "photozone" and "the digital picture" Have the Canon 10-22 and at 4,5 its better for sure but mine Sigma isnt so far away at 1.8.

Cons: VERY soft.
Pros: Good build quality.
Summary: After 3 different lenses, I gave up. Horrible image quality. Not enough fine tuning adjustment on my D300 to tame this puppy. Not only cannot recommend this lens, I discourage others from buying it.

Cons: Soft. Awkward manual/autofocus mechanism. Hunts.
Pros: Brightest WA. Focus extremely close. Sharp from 2.8.
Summary: A nice lens for the price, very useful.

Cons: Flare prone, huge dimensions and weight, slow AF, field curvature, EX finish is easy to harm , I heard about bad copies ( check out photozone.de ), falloff on fullframe
Pros: Sharp even wide open, floating system= good results for infinity and also close shots, only f/1,8 wide lens, fullframe ready, a little bit of distortion, you will get nice bag, MFD
Summary: I was suprised, how sharp this lens can be. It can focus really close. These close-shots with f/1,8 make incredible results. True potential of this lens can be used only with fullframe camera.
