User profile: Amateur
Cons: Used lens with damaged AF (chip failure). Build quality is a bit better, than 18-55. Better multi coatings, but image quality is the same.
Pros: Enough sharp over 5.6, but AF is slow.
Summary: The same quality as the 18-55 presents, but not so bad for a kit lens.

Price: EUR 70,-
User profile: Semipro
Cons: flimsy build quality, rotating front lens, strange flare in contrasty lighting conditions
Pros: small and lightweight, great image quality even wide open with sharp corners (except in the 50-55mm range).
Summary: amazing quality for the price
