Cons: very sharp for a megazoom but not as sharp as my 400canonL prime or my 70-200 f/2.8L - but its close--best sharpness below 475mm
Pros: the sigma 50-500 standard and OS are sharpest mega zoom available ,beating the canon 100-400L and the nikon offerings--its very versatile-grab and go walk-around lens-great handle, tuff build
Summary: ive beat the hell out of my sigma 50-500 on hundreds of mountain adventures aswell as paid jobs sports/ski/baseball/soccer/weddings--im glad i bought it,it always serves well--i i have primes but find you can miss shots switching lenses and with this lens that wont happen-you see a shot, you nail it,no waiting no fumbling
