Cons: Weak performance at 200-300 mm - but very usable in macro mode. Slow an in accurate AF. Lens hood attaches flimsy. ZOOM ring somehow hard to turn - it makes a lot of resistance on some focal lengths. Very tricky switch to turn the macro mode on/off (you must get used to it). You must de-zoom and manually refocus to minimum focus distance, before the lens fits into your bag. Lack of optical stabilisation. Low contrast against bright light.
Pros: Unexpensive. Very useful for macro shots, but you must use a tripod. Good optical quality in macro rande (200 - 300 mm). Stury build.Metal lens mount.
Summary: Very good for the money, especially at macro distances, less so at normal distances.

Cons: plastic, 300 mm not so sharp
Pros: really sharp when using 70-200 mm, very nice shots ,great macro
Summary: good buy for travel shots

Cons: not usable at 300mm. MACRO? Really? Are you kidding me! Slow and noisy focus but for this price is good. Flare and loss of sharpness against the sun.
Pros: good value for the money. A good travel-family lens. 9 diaphragm blades. Good build quality for the price. Good optical performance if you know how to get the best from your lens. just buy it and have fun.
Summary: if you know how to use it, this lens delivers good picture. it's not a fast lens but is better than Canon EF 75-300. 70mm is the best of all focal range and is usable from f4 to f11. The best performance are: 70mm - f 5,6 100mm f 8 135mm f 8 200mm f 8 300mm f 11 But i never go over 200mm and over f11 i don't use this lens for work,it's one of my travel lens

Cons: occasional focus hunt, rotating front element
Pros: very good resolution, low CA, nice macro shots with god bokeh, quick focus for a screw drive, good build quality, dedicated aperture ring on Pentax mount is goot when shooting videos
Summary: the sweet spot advantage on a APS-C is great, got this lens almost new second-hand, I dont think it is way too noisy

Cons: Build quality, it's made of pure plastic, but it's not so bad. Noisy, it's very noisy; if you need it for shooting animals, maybe you'll scare them. You get a little bit of chromatic aberrations at 300mm.
Pros: Price, it's incredibly cheap for what you get. DG, you can use it on full frame and aps-c cameras.
Summary: I have to admit this lens surprised me for it's value. The optical quality it's not the greatest as you can imagine, but it's not the worst at all, I mounted it on a canon aps-c camera and it's working great. It's very noisy compared to an L series ultrasonic Canon lens, but again, for 160 euros...
