Samyang AF 35 mm f/2.8 FE

6 December 2017
Arkadiusz Olech

6. Distortion

An interesting result in this category – most of 35 mm lenses, being instruments wider than the “standard” ones, show slight barrel distortion. The Samyang features the “pincushion” variety, amounting to +0.92% on the APS-C and +1.79% on full frame. These results are, within the margin of error, the same as in the case of the more expensive Sonnar.
