Overall
Owner since: 3 months
Price: 40
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Min Distance 2.5mtr, filter thread rotates while focusing, Zoom drifts while hold in an angle
Pros: 28 wide to 210 zoom covers all needs. When stopped down DOF is great.Macro min distance is 2.5ft and macro is good and handy.
Summary: No of diaphragm blades 8.This is good lens but being manual one needs skill of using it.It has drawbacks and strengths too.For the price it is a good lens and worth having in the kit for special purpose. It is an all round lens.I liked it more than my D5200 kit lens 55-300mm which looks plastic while this Vivitar lens has a classic look and dependable performance in its own way.
