Cons: A bit of purple fringing on highlights wide open; goes away at f/4. Flare prone when the sun is on the front elements.
Pros: Sharp, usable from wide open. Very good focusing throw and feel. High quality build. Built-in hood is very helpful.
Summary: A nice long, sharp, cheap lens.
