Overall
Owner since: 5 years
Price: 150
User profile: Semipro
Cons: soft at 2.0
Pros: great colors nice bokeh very sharp from 2.8
Summary: Great for portraits. Lens has good characteristics in the out of focus and transition zones. I use this lens only for family portraits since it is an MF lens. On D90 it is not easy to focus precisely. I hope I can use it on weddings on D600 with a bigger viewfinder because of its exceptional picture.

User profile: Amateur
Cons: bit soft at f/2.0 but it is more matter of taste, I like it also then. From f2.8 onwards great
Pros: beautifull IQ, lens with its own charme and character
Summary: In my personal opinion, this is one of very great Nikkors
