1. Introduction

Lately we have observed a small offensive when when it comes to slight, lightweight C line fixed-focal lenses produced by Sigma. In July 2019 we saw the C 45 mm f/2.8 DG DN model and on 1st December 2020 as many as three other lenses were presented: the C 24 mm f/3.5 DG DN, the C 35 mm f/2 DG DN, and the C 65 mm f/2 DG DN. In September 2021 two other instruments were launched, this time the C 90 mm f/2.8 DG DN and the C 24 mm f/2 DG DN. In February 2022 the company announced a launch of another model, the Sigma C 20 mm f/2 DG DN.

Sigma C 20 mm f/2 DG DN - Introduction

Even though the C series is generally characterized by different compromises and the emphasis on small dimensions you can find also outstanding instruments in this group, like the Sigma C 65 mm f/2 DG DN, a lens that was able to break resolution records during our test. All of that made us very curious how the new Sigma C 20 mm f/2 DG DN would fare.
