The appearance of defocused circles of light is not abysmal but, unfortunately, you can find some reasons to complain. First of all, aspherical elements inside the lens mean visible onion ring bokeh. Additionally, the lens shows distinct problems with mechanical vignetting because the circle in the corners of full frame is significantly truncated even after stopping down the lens by 2 EV.
