Cons: Relatively high distorsion on the edges as well in the center of the frame. Its a sort of mustache form distortion witch is difficult to correct.
Pros: Exelent sharpness in the center and good in the edges. With 2,8 a good lens for available light work. The AE version works wel on my equipment.( F6, F11, FM 2, D300)
Summary: Worth every Euro spend on it, can compete the more expensive wide angels including the Nikor 12-24 mm. Dispite the distortion witch only is a problem in architectural work it's a great peace of equipment for landscape work.

Cons: wide angle!!
Pros: aperture ring springs back, no click in between fstops, when mounted on camera. will have to tape it!!
Summary: very good sharpness even at f2,8. excellent lens, scary front lens, easy scatch!!!

Cons: Focus @ infinity was off and it is not as straightforward to fix this as the 8mm f3.5 was. But, fixed it is and I must say that given what I paid for the lens, i have absolutely no complaints. Wish it had a P type chip so I could use the aperture ring with the D7K, as opposed to a G type chip with control wheel aperture only.
Pros: IQ for $ spent is as good as it gets. I'm glad I waited for the AE version. That being said It even shows up in the EXIF as a 14mm 2.8D in ViewNX2! I am genuinely impressed with this lens. With the D7K in daylight it tends to overexpose .7 stop in aperture mode.
Summary: A little soft in the corners but it is to be expected with this wide of a lens. I think my 20mm AFD Nikkor on FX is softer in the corners than the 14mm Samyang is with DX.
