Thanks to the e-shop Pasazfoto.pl we had the opportunity to take some pictures with a new Canon EOS 550D camera. We used two lenses: Canon EF 28 mm f/1.8 USM and EF 100 mm f/2.8L IS USM.

In March 2009 Sigma released a new lens – Sigma 18-50 mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM. The lens is addressed mainly for those who would like to replace their simple "kit" lenses with something better. The beginning of January 2010 brought us a very interesting launch. The Samsung company showed to the world its new photographic system, based on a small mirror-less camera, marked as NX10 and equipped with a 14.6 mega pixels CMOS sensor, manufactured in-house. Apart from that there were three new lenses, presented along with the camera: a kit 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens with image stabilization, a small 2/30“pancake” lens and an amateur stabilized 50-200 mm zoom. Thanks to Daniel Kulinski we have the opportunity to show you some sample images shot with Samsung NX10 and lenses: NX 18–55 mm f/3.5–5.6 OIS, NX 30 mm f/2.0. All presented pictures were taken at Sharpness level in camera set to lowest value and the noise reduction was off.

At the end of 2009 Sigma decided to refresh their 17-70 mm lens. A lot of features have been changed. Firstly we got image stabilization and an ultrasonic autofocus motor HSM (in the previous model it was available only in the Nikon mount version). The parameters also changed slightly.

After four long years of waiting, the Tokina AT-X 16.5-135 DX 16.5-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens has appeared on Polish market and we could test it finally. By reading our review of this lens, You can find out if it was really worth to wait for it.

Few months ago we informed about delay in production of Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED MC Aspherical. Samyang take decision to partially redesign construction of the lens to improve some parameters. This decision was taken after careful testing first pre-production prototypes and among others after reading our review of this lens. Today Samyang announces the lens availability.

A 300 mm focal length and f/2.8 aperture model is one of the classic journalistic lenses, ideal for sport or nature photos. Sigma has the cheapest instrument of these parameters on its offer.
