Finally, the Tamron SP AF 70-200 mm f/2.8 Di LD (IF) MACRO was launched on the market, the cheapest in its class. Because of such a low price (you can buy it for about 700 USD) it became an object of great interest and excitement, especially that, with such good lenses as a 17-50 mm f/2.8, 28-75 mm f/2.8 or 2.8/90 Macro Tamron has proved that it is a company able to produce a very good and fast zooms. Sigma 18-50 mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM was announced in March 2003. After small delay it has just appeared in shops world-wide. The full review of this lens will appear at LensTip as soon as possible, but now we can present you the gallery with sample shots taken by this lens mounted on Nikon D200 body.

Last year, the PMA fair saw a Sigma Corporation offensive - this company presented as many as five new lenses, most of them equipped with the image stabilization mechanism. In August 2008 Nikon launched a new DSLR camera marked by the D90 symbol. Together with the camera a new lens was presented - the Nikkor AF-S DX 18-105 mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR. The lens is meant to be a "kit" lens for D90, it has a very useful focal length range and it's equipped with an image stabilization system. Because of this the Nikkor AF-S DX 18-105 mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR lens should be very popular among amateurs of photography.
