The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17 mm f/1.8 lens was announced today morning. We have pleasure to present you a gallery of sample images taken using this lens mounted to Olympus E-PL1 camera. All pictures were taken in JPEG format with the lowest level of sharpening and noise reduction.

From some time now Sigma have been launching newer versions of its macro lenses. At the beginning we’ve seen 105 mm and 150 mm focal length models introduced to the market. The Canon company started 2012 with three launches of lenses. They announced introducing a new journalistic zoom, the EF 24–70 mm f/2.8L USM II and two fixed-focus lenses: the EF 24 mm f/2.8 IS USM and the EF 28 mm f/2.8 IS USM. The Sony SLT-A99 camera was shown just before the Photokina 2012. Today we present you another gallery of sample images taken using this camera and Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar 24-70 mm f/2.8 T* SSM and Sony 35 mm f/1.4G lenses. All pictures were taken in JPEG format with the lowest level of sharpening and noise reduction.

The Sony NEX-6 camera and Sony E 10-18 mm f/4 OSS lens were used to create another gallery of sample pictures. All images are JPEG files stright from the camera with lowest lever of sharpening and compression and with noise reduction off.

Our next gallery contains images taken with Sony NEX-5R camera and Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* E 24 mm f/1.8 ZA lens. As usual all pictures were taken in JPEG format with the lowest level of sharpening and noise reduction.

In February 2012 the Canon company presented three new lenses. Among them there was a long-awaited journalistic zoom with f/2.8 and the focal range from 24 to 70 mm. The next two novelties were a complete surprise. Canon showed 24 and 28 mm fixed-focus lenses with a not especially impressing f/2.8 aperture and image stabilization.
