    Cons: None for the price.

Pros: Very compact, super sharp even wide open, pleasing bokeh, relatively fast. It makes for a great portrait lens, despite the unusual 75mm equivalent focal length.

Summary: A great general purpose short telephoto and a viable alternative to the 56mm f/1.2 for portraits.

Cons: A lot of problems with chromatic aberation, especially with hard light and at full aperture f2.0 but also at f2.8. I\'ve had the lens checked by Fuji, and several copies allowed to try, but unfortunately all with this problem.

Pros: Sharp, very solid build, fast AF, weather sealed.

Summary: Going to sell the lens because of the chromatic aberation problem. Because of chromatic abberation, I cannot rely on the lens for professional photo shots. Too much work afterwards to correct as well.

    Cons: - Unusual focal lenght on APS-C - A bit annoying... ?

Pros: - Great build quality - Almost perfect optics with high contrast, great sharpness and good clean bokeh - Focuses quite close

Summary: Technically the best \"Fujicron\" lens. Well build and extremely sharp. It gives vivid and clean pictures and can focus quite close. I keep it because it\'s optically excellent but I think the focal lenght is somewhat strange on APS-C and that it lacks character. Simply a matter of taste, I\'m not excited by a 50mm f/2.

    Cons: None!

Pros: - Lightweight - Fast and quiet AF - Great bokeh at f/2 - Great for video

Summary: Superior to Nikon\'s and Canon\'s 50mm offerings, the XF 50mm is a wonderful lens. It is a great for everyday use, street and food photography, portrait, etc... It is also a welcome addition to the other f/2 offerings, and worth having as a lighter addition or substitute to the XF 56mm
