Overall
Owner since: 1 month
Price: 346 euro
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Non found at this point.
Pros: Sharp, excellent color.
Summary: Use it on the D700. Tried it also on the Fuji X Pro-1 for macro but the electronic viewfinder is not really suited for macro photography. Will later find out what it does on D810 and D500. For the price I paid , it is a must own lens.

Cons: if only Tokina could add a vibration reduction to it. sigh!
Pros: excellent sharpness & Color rendition. a great portrait lens too. great bokeh.
Summary: using it on a Nikon D7000. i could not ask for a better lens at this price. it is a darling.

Owner since: 4 years
Price: $500

Cons: No VR, could focus a little bit closer. Both of these are minor quibbles, as the lens tends to handle low-light well and focuses close enough in most cases.
Pros: Razor-sharp macro with good low-light performance. Pairs very well with FX as well as crop sensor bodies.
Summary: I got this for use with my D70 and it has seen heavy use in botanical photography. For the money, this has been an excellent performer with both the D70 and my recently-adopted D700.
