8. Vignetting
Using the maximum aperture makes the luminance loss at the corners of the frame visible. It amounts 26% (-0.86 EV), which is an average value in this grade of equipment. Fortunately, the problem virtually disappears as we stop down to F/4.0. That’s where vignetting falls to the negligible level of 8% and is impossible to spot in real-life photos.
