8. Vignetting

In this category, at maximum aperture, 1.4/50 lenses mention before, like Sigma, Pentax or Zeiss produced very similar results recording the light falloff in the corners of the frame that totaled 23-25%. Pentax DA* 1.4/55 is designed for small sensor, so it might have some more problems here. And it does, although the result isn’t much worse.

For f/1.4 aperture the vignetting reached the level of almost 30% (-0.66 EV). Fortunately, at f/2.0 the problem vanishes nearly completely (9%).
