8. Vignetting
The measurements show an interesting property of this aberration, though. Within the margin of error the vignetting level by f/2.8 and f/4.0 is the same, amounting to 13-14% (about –0.41 EV). It decreases to the value of 9% (-0.28 EV) by f/5.6. These numbers concern measurements for RAW files. In the case of JPEG files the light fall-off in the frame corners is by 2-3% lower.
