6. Distortion

The distortion of the tested lens is, in fact, practically zero. On the small APS-C sensor and on full frame we got exactly the same result of –0.02%. Taking into account the fact that our measurement errors are on the level of 0.1% the ‘zero distortion’ expression, used here, is completely justified.

After attaching the converter this aberration increases a bit but still it remains slight. In the case of the Canon 50D we got a result of –0.24% and on full frame of the Canon 1Ds MkIII it was –0.86%.
