Tokina AT-X M35 PRO DX 35 mm f/2.8

9 May 2009

6. Distortion

Of all 35-mm lenses tested on APS-C/DX matrices, Tokina shows the smallest barrel distortion, the value of which amounts -0.59%. Other lenses of this grade produced results between -0.73% and -0.87%. As we can see, the difference is insignificant and all these instruments perform in a similar manner. The value reached by Tokina is not big and it shouldn’t get in our way in real-life situations.
