Cons: Coma distortion around the outsides of the image is too much for my liking for astrophotography. The lens produces lacklustre images. Resolution is disappointing.
Pros: Well built lens physically. Wide angle on a crop frame image sensor.
Summary: I have found this lens to be disappointing. Every time I try to use it I find myself putting the lens back in the bag and switching back to my Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 ART lens. The Sigma is not quite as wide angle, but it produces satisfying images.
