The Nikon reflex camera users who want to buy a fast 30-35 mm class lens, can choose between the Sigma 1.4/30 mm and the Nikkor AF 35 mm f/2.0D, which was designed in days of analog photography (launched in 1995). The latter option tempts with small dimensions and an affordable price. How good is its optics, though? Does it fare better on small DX detectors or on a full frame FX?

Courtesy of the Cyfrowe.pl shop, we were able to test this lens and we hope to answer these questions at length.
