10. Autofocus

When it comes to speed and noise of the autofocus, the Nikkor tested here is difficult to fault. Accuracy is a more serious problem because the results are not the best. The number of misses in the studio conditions reached 15% on the Nikon D200 and 9% on the Nikon D3x - these values don’t impress us at all. Fortunately the autofocus doesn’t have any front focus or back focus tendencies as it can be observed in the pictures below.
