The producer assures us that a Sigma 2.8/150 EX DG HSM APO is the first super-fast zoom Macro lens in the world. It is true that its parameters look impressive. A solid EX construction belongs to the Sigma lenses highest quality series. Three APO letters guarantee very good chromatic and spherical aberration correction. The next three HSM letters tell us that an ultrasonic High Speed Motor mechanism was used here. Additionally we are given minimum focus from already 38 centimeters and a 1:1 scale.

The lens is adapted to be used with other digital reflex cameras from Sigma, Canon and Nikon but the Nikon mount version is not equipped with an aperture ring so some functions might not work.
