The full frame design usually eliminates the vignetting problems on the small DX detector. This was the situation with our tested lens. At the maximum aperture the light fall off in the corners of the frame reaches only 12% (-0.37 EV). The defect is decreased to 5% after stopping down the lens to f/4.0.
