The chart below presents results the Canon 85 mm f/1.8 and other fast 85 mm lenses, tested by us, got on the APS-C/DX sensor and on full frame in the category of distortion.

As you can notice the Canon 1.8/85 is the only device characterized by pincushion distortion; the rest of lenses show a slight „barrel”. The results of the tested lens are good and when it comes to absolute values, noticeably lower than those of the more expensive 1.2/85 model – an interesting fact.
