1. Introduction

The Nikon company has always taken good care of those who like really wide angles – the fact that the Nikkor AF-S 17–35 mm f/2.8D ED-IF has been offered by them for more than a dozen years is the proof. They entered strongly the digital full frame segment not only launching appropriate bodies but also such lenses as the Nikkor AF-S 14–24 mm f/2.8G ED. In 2010 Nikon presented also the AF-S 16–35 mm f/4G ED VR model and in 2013, they showed the Nikkor AF-S 18–35 mm f/3.5–4.5G ED, the successor of the Nikkor AF 18–35 mm f/3.5–4.5D IF-ED, a lens which they had in their line-up since 2000.

In the following material we have an opportunity to present the full test of that latest acquisition of Nikon – enjoy your reading! We had an opportunity to test that lens courtesy of theFoto Plus shop from Cracow – thank you very much!
