Nikon Nikkor AF-S 20 mm f/1.8G ED

6. Distortion

For such a wide angle of view the Nikkor 1.8/20 is characterized by slight distortion. On a small sensor of the Nikon D7000 it was almost imperceptible as our measurements showed just small barrel, amounting to -0.89%. On full frame the distortion reached a level of −1.53%. It is a moderate value, not especially bothersome in real life photos.
