9. Ghosting and flares

Work against bright light is not the strongest point of the tested lens. Light artifacts, ghosting and contrast decrease can be easily caught and noticed; still the situation seems to be better than the performance of the old construction of that type. The duel between the tested lens and its rivals ends nearly in a draw; after all the Canon 100-400L II fared very similarly in this category.
