Lens review

Carl Zeiss Milvus 50 mm f/1.4

9. Ghosting and flares

The performance against bright light of the Milvus 1.4/50 is excellent. No matter where the source of light is positioned, it is difficult to spot any flares and the contrast of photos remains really high. The tested lens seems to fare here slightly better than the more optically complex Otus and noticeably better than the Sigma A 1.4/50.
