Thanks to the usage of the USM motor in the tested Canon, there is nothing to complain about in this category. The autofocus works quietly, quickly and without any problems. During our testing session the lens missed only in 3% of cases and the mistakes were not very big.

We did not notice any flaws as far as accuracy is concerned. The sharpness was perfectly set up in most cases and the number of front and back focusing was the same.
