9. Ghosting and flares

A huge front element which is almost not hidden inside the casing and 24 air-to-glass surfaces constitute a huge challenge when it comes to performance against bright light.

Looking at the photos below you might say the Sigma didn’t fail in this category. Of course you still can catch ghosting and flares in more than one combination of apertures and the position of the sun inside the frame but they aren’t either intensive or bothersome. Overall the performance in this category can be considered as moderately good.
