7. Coma, astigmatism and bokeh

Coma is corrected in a splendid way, no matter what detector or aperture you employ. All thumbnails, presented below, are practically identical and the image of a diode positioned in the corner of the frame doesn’t differ from the same image we obtained in the frame centre.

Astigmatism, understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values, amounted to 5.9%. It’s a result on a borderline between low and very low values. No reasons to complain in this category.

The appearance of out-of-focus images would be perfect if not for a lighter area in the centre of the circle. Apart from that you can spot a slight influence of mechanical vignetting.
