Sony FE 35 mm f/1.8
1. Introduction
As you see, in this class you are truly spoied for choice and, despite that, in July 2019 Sony decided to add to their offer the Sony FE 35 mm f/1.8. The selling point of that lens was supposed to be its price. You can buy it for a sum of 2900 PLN - several hundred PLN less than the slower Sonnar and over 2000 PLN less than the cost of the Batis which is slightly slower aperture-wise too, The Sony also is more than half cheaper than the faster Distagon.
Courtesy of Sony we managed to borrow one specimen of that lens for our testing procedure and now we can present our impressions and findings in the following chapters – enjoy your reading!
