Sony FE 40 mm f/2.5 G

9. Ghosting and flares

In this category you see a very similar performance to that of the Sony FE 50 mm f/1.2 GM, presented one week earlier. Overall the lens fares well against bright light, it's hard to catch any reflections and the photos are properly contrasted. Still it might happen that the sun, positioned just outside one frame corner, will generate a very bight, white artefact that overexposes some are aof the frame. Fortunately its size is quite limited.
