Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 9 mm f/1.7 ASPH

10. Autofocus

When you attach the tested lens to the Panasonic G9 its autofocus is noiseless and flash quick. Despite a significant range of distances to cover, finding and confirming the focus doesn't take longer than 0.3 of a second, an excellent result. What's more, it doesn't matter from what end you start focusing.

After attaching the PanaLeica to the Olympus OM-D E-M5 II nothing changes – the autofocus remains as noiseless and quick as previously.

When it comes to the accuracy, it was splendid no matter what body you attached the tested lens to and whether you took photos in the studio or outside.

The lens didn't show any distinct front or back focus tendencies either.
